“Living your life in a way that gives you peace of mind is healthy. Present actions that can lead to an easier financial future — for ourselves and for our loved ones — is empowering. Transylvania Regional Hospital is proud to join forces with United Way of Transylvania County in sponsoring the Life, Death and Taxes community service event,” said Michele Pilon, President and Chief Nursing Officer at Transylvania Regional Hospital.
Life, Death and Taxes will be held Wednesday, July 25, from 11 am to 2 pm, in the main lobby and Carlson Conference Room at Transylvania Regional Hospital. The event is free and open to the public. Visitors will be able to tour 15 informational booths, receive take-home gifts and register for door prizes at the event.
“United Way of Transylvania County’s Board understands that health, education and financial stability are closely intertwined. Life, Death and Taxes is an opportunity for our neighbors to learn more ways to be fiscally and physically healthy,” commented Terry Decker, United Way of Transylvania County Board Chair.
Six local advisors will present a series of 15-minute presentations on a variety of planning issues. The talks begin at 11:15 am.
