Join ophthalmologist Hank Johnson, MD, for his presentation “Cataracts: All You Ever Wanted to Know” at Transylvania Regional Hospital on Tuesday, April 24, at 6:30 pm in the Carlson Conference Room. This free program is part of Transylvania Regional Hospital’s “Dessert with the Doc” series.

Dr. Johnson is a board-certified ophthalmologist. He attended Clemson University where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. He then graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston receiving his Doctorate of Medicine. After an internship in internal medicine at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina, he completed his residency in ophthalmology at the University of Florida in Gainesville, where he was elected Chief Resident during his senior year. His fellowship in Cornea, External Disease and Refractive Surgery is from Columbia University in New York City at the Edward Harkness Eye Institute.
