Stress reduction techniques may be useful in reducing stress and anxiety while increasing overall wellbeing, which in turn can improve seizure control.
Through experiential learning, we will learn skills for building inner strength, and improving our capacity to self-regulate in the face of change and uncertainty. Heart rate variability biofeedback is of particular interest in seizure disorders because of the heart’s connection with the brain.
