ingredients
12 oz fresh cranberries
2 ripe pears, peeled, cored and diced
1 cup orange juice
zest of ½ an orange
¼ cup pure maple syrup, honey or agave
½ tsp cinnamon
½ tsp ground ginger
directions
total cook + prep time: 20 minutes
1. Add all ingredients, except the pears, to a medium saucepan and bring to a boil on high heat.
2. Once boiling, reduce heat and simmer for about 15 minutes or until the cranberries burst and the sauce thickens.
3. Remove from heat and let cool before refrigerating.
