Free Event to Offer Important Info on Living Wills, End-of-Life Treatment – April 23

Shutterstock Living WillA free, hands-on clinic coming up on Saturday, April 23 offers the chance to learn about and prepare your advance care planning documents. A community project of the North Carolina Bar Association Health Law & Elder Law sections and the North Carolina Partnership for Compassionate Care, the event will enable attendees to:

  • Learn about health care powers of attorney
  • Learn about living wills
  • Complete your advance directives*
  • Talk about your wishes for end-of-life treatment

WHEN: April 23, 2016 (10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.)

*Please note: You will need to bring a photo ID in order to have your advance directives notarized.
